Como coach Cesc Fabregas backs former club Arsenal to beat Manchester City in big Premier League clash on Sunday

The Gunners are determined to win their first Premier League title since 2004 after coming close over the past two seasons and Fabregas believes Mikel Arteta’s side can emerge victorious when they meet at the Etihad Stadium this weekend.

“I’m going for Arsenal to win 2-1,” Fabregas told the Planet Premier League podcast. “It’s going to be a game where goals are scored, I’m sure there will be goals.”

“I think if you lose this weekend, it doesn’t have a big impact on the players’ minds. You know because the season is long, there are still a lot of games to play – if you lose in March, that’s a big thing. We might see a little bit of a different approach from the team.”

“It’s always a 50-50 game because they respect each other, they know each other’s weaknesses, they know their strengths. I think both teams have a good UFABET game plan, it makes the game look close and sometimes there are not many chances. But yeah, I’m really looking forward to the game.”

Arsenal have enjoyed a strong start to the season, having collected ten points out of a possible 12. They have won three games and drawn once to Brighton, which saw Declan Rice dismissed with a red card.
