Liverpool head coach Arne Slot said in his pre-match press conference ahead of their trip to Bournemouth (September 21) that first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker may not be available due to a muscular injury, and would be better off with Caoimhin Kelleher as backup.

The Brazilian goalkeeper reportedly suffer a minor injury before the 3-1 Champions League win over AC Milan, and was not injury during the match in Italy.
He missed the local Thursday training session and will have to be assess by the medical team before Friday lunchtime training, so he may miss the game at Anfield this Saturday.
“Alisson is not sure if he can train on Friday. Let’s see if he can train,” the 46-year-old coach said.
“If he can’t practice, he won’t be able to play either – so we’ll have to wait and see.”
“He has a muscular problem and we still wonder if Saturday’s game might be too early for him.”
“I don’t think it was from the Milan game, but it was a little bit of a problem before that. It just got worse after the game in midweek.”
